We had a great day at Conference 1 with our NPQ Leading Teaching cohort. It's been great working with a really engaged group who are asking questions, sharing ideas, and developing their thinking. We were also pleased to welcome back Homaira Ibrahim who led a session on challenging conversations and encouraged the group to reflect on how these can be approached with confidence, care, and deeper thinking. In this dynamic role, you'll work directly with trainee teachers across our partnership schools observing lessons, coaching practice and providing high-impact, developmental feedback. You'll support trainees to build confidence, turn research into action, and thrive in the classroom. You'll also play an important role in quality assuring training across partner schools, working closely with mentors, school leaders and colleagues to ensure consistently high standards. This role involves collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including schools, trust colleagues and the wider Teaching Hub team, to strengthen practice and partnership working. Their programme is delivered in partnership with the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT), providing a coherent, research-informed approach to teacher development from initial training through to early career.
